Lotterywest is supporting Environment House to employ a gardener every Harry Wykman, of Lockridge Community Garden, to create and maintain our ‘demonstration’ food garden and teach us how to grow our own fruit & vegies. GARDENING for BEGINNERS or for those who’ve tried & failed
Weekly on Mondays 2010 (except public holidays) & one-off 2hr workshops every month

SPRING IN THE VEGIE GARDEN!

MONDAY CLASSES SPRING TERM starts Mon 13 SEPT

9.15-10am Pre-schoolers Fun in the garden $5

4-.4.45pm Junior gardeners class (all school-aged kids) $5 (Parents have a cuppa and a browse on site)

Students will learn to:  *grow vegies from seed
*transplant seedlings 
*water and weed properly *run a worm farm

5.15-6.15 Adults' after-work classes: a 6 week course  $10/$5 

We start outside then move inside for a cuppa and theory as the night comes down.
